2010 to 2015 - five years in which creative industries in North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) increased turnover by around 2 million euros and created around 25,500 new jobs. This was shown in the Creative Report conducted by Prognos AG on behalf of the North Rhine-Westphalian Ministry for Economic Affairs. The number of employees in the branch is growing at a rate above the national average (at 10 rather than 5 %). The branch even outperforms the overall economy in NRW (7%), demonstrating the strong demand.
