Dr Alexander Piegsa

Dr Alexander Piégsa, physicist, is a senior expert in the fields of industry and modelling. In this role, he oversees and develops the model for determining the energy consumption of industrial sectors at Prognos. He specialises in industrial processes and technologies. In particular, the challenges of the industrial sector on the way to greenhouse gas-neutral production are the subject of his research. In addition, Dr Alexander Piégsa is responsible for the further development of the internal energy model system, based on which Prognos determines the energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions for a country or region.
