Dr Michael Böhmer, born in 1975, on the other hand, recognises the messages behind them and what they can achieve and change. That is what drives and motivates him. After studying economics in Trier and Bordeaux, Dr Michael Böhmer first worked for the German Council of Economic Experts. During this time he also wrote his doctoral thesis. In 2005 he joined Prognos, where he worked on macroeconomic and economic policy issues for more than ten years. After a two-year employment with a large consulting firm, he returned to Prognos in 2019. As Partner, Chief Economist and Head of Corporate Services he supports companies in the field of macroeconomic developments and market constellations.
