Datum 7. November 2024 Location Brussels, online The European Green Deal will only succeed if all EU regions embark on the path to climate neutrality. However, structurally weak regions in particular need support in this endeavour. EU cohesion policy aims to strengthen the cohesion of the member states and support structurally weak regions in their sustainable economic development. To enable cohesion regions to utilise EU funds in an even more targeted manner for sustainability transitions, the European Commission's DG REGIO has commissioned a consortium consisting of Prognos, COWI, Ecorys and GOPA Com. to set up the community-based platform Cohesion for Transitions (C4T) Community of Practice. A look back and ahead DG REGIO has commissioned Prognos with the following tasks within the C4T project: the establishment of a scientific expert council the provision of analytical capacities the supervision/moderation of a working group on the topic of climate The C4T Second Forum is now drawing a conclusion: What has been achieved so far? And where do we go from here? Various sessions will reflect on the successes of the C4T platform to date and discuss the insights gained. In addition, feedback from participants will be collected for future improvements. Our colleagues Anna Kronvall, Michelle Reuter and Richard Simpson will be on site to moderate various sessions.
