After a year of study at the Stiftung Wissenschaft und Politik (German Institute for International and Security Affairs) in 2008, he took over as head of the Energy Economics Division at Prognos AG and in 2013 as head of the Business Unit Economy, Energy, Infrastructure. His main areas of responsibility are (market) analyses and consulting for the energy industry, grid operators and energy policy.
