My statement
citeSociety has never been more in flux than it is now – it's exciting to be able to help shape it!

Dr Dagmar Weßler-Poßberg has been with Prognos AG since 2015 and is responsible for social policy consulting. She studied social management and completed her doctorate at the University of Duisburg-Essen on the topic of compatibility in the tense relationship between gender and qualifications. Before joining Prognos, Dagmar Weßler-Poßberg worked in research and teaching of social policy at the chair of Prof. Dr Ute Klammer at the University of Duisburg Essen and the Institute for Research and Development in Social Work at the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences.

Ms Weßler-Poßberg's work at Prognos focuses on social policy strategies at the federal, state and district level, the evaluation of federal programmes and the analysis and further development of operational framework conditions. She leads research and consulting projects for a variety of public clients, such as the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth, the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, the State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Science and Digital Society, the State Ministry for Home Affairs, Municipal Building and Equality and the Berlin Senate Administration.

One of Ms Weßler-Poßberg's key topics is the personnel and financial framework of Early Education. In the context of the campaign for qualified educators, she was in charge of the study to determine the shortage of qualified personnel in Early Childhood Education. In two other projects for the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth (BMFSFJ) she is addressing specialist careers for educators. In the evaluation of "KiBiz" for the Ministry for Children, Family, Refugees and Integration of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia she is currently concerned with the financing of daycare and the adequacy of child allowances.
