Workshop: Evaluation of investments in RTD infrastructures and activities

On behalf of the European Commission, Prognos, together with the Technopolis Group and the Centre for Industrial Studies (CSIL), evaluated investments in infrastructures and activities in the field of research and technological development (RTD). The focus was on investments supported by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) in the period 2007-2013.

In the validation webinar on 7 May, the findings of the study will be presented to, reflected upon and validated with a wider audience of interested RTD policy stakeholders from Member States, pan-European institutions and Commission officials. Dr Jan-Philipp Kramer will give a presentation on "Success factors and important considerations when designing RTD instruments". The webinar will also be used to collect and reflect upon possible recommendations and improvements of future RTD support under ERDF post-2020.
