Microsimulation Model

The Prognos Microsimulation model enables the estimation and simulation of the effects of fiscal, social, and family policy reforms or changes in macroeconomic conditions at individual and household level. In addition to distributional effects, macroeconomic and fiscal effects can be estimated.

Model core

The Prognos Microsimulation model is a detailed model of the German tax and transfer system at individual and household level.
