„Certain traditions are worth keeping!“ Leonard Krampe Prognos employees in Berlin have once again proven their social responsibility commitment. At the beginning of the year, an employee initiated a collection campaign and asked for donations for Berlin’s homeless. Colleagues donated blankets, sleeping mats, underwear, winter jackets, and much more. Starting in 2013, this fundraising campaign has already become a tradition for the Berlin Prognos team. The donations piled up first in the office and were then taken to the clothes store of the Berlin City Mission in Berlin Mitte. Traditionally, after Christmas, the number of donations they receive slows down considerably. Winter in Berlin, on the other hand, can go on until April. We are pleased to say that this time, Prognos employees were able to fill almost half a van to take to the city mission. The background: Berlin City Mission’s Kältehilfe has been saving lives for more than 25 years. From November to March, people without shelter can find a safe place to sleep there, receive warm clothing, medical help, a replenishing meal, and encouraging exchanges.
