Who benefits most from globalisation?

Globalization report 2018

Client

Bertelsmann Stiftung

Year

2018

Who benefits most from globalization? This is the question addressed in the ‘Globalisation Report 2018'. Prognos carried out this study for the Bertelsmann Stiftung.

No other country has achieved such large increases in per capita income between 1990 and 2016 as Switzerland. This makes the country the ‘globalization world champion’.

This was the result of the ‘Globalisation Report 2018’, prepared for the Bertelsmann Stiftung by Prognos AG.

Building on the two previous studies, the ‘Globalisation Report 2018’ examines to what extent the world's 42 most important economies have benefited from globalization in the past.
