Conference: Clusters meet Regions in Košice

Between the 29th and the 30th of March 2023, a conference on the integration of Ukrainian clusters and companies into EU value chains will be held in Košice. Dr Jan-Philipp Kramer on the first day in the session on Regional Economic Development will present an input paper on trade linkages and the cluster ecosystem in the region, which was written in the framework of the European Cluster Collaboration Platform (ECCP) project.

Participants in the conference include Eduard Heger, Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic, Thierry Breton, EU-Commissioner for the Internal Market and Maive Rute, Deputy Director General Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs of the EU Commission.

Background:

As part of a consortium led by IMP³ROVE, Prognos is developing the European Cluster Collaboration Platform into the central contact point for cluster organisations in Europe. Prognos is responsible, among other things, for work package 3 "Data & Policy", which includes the preparation of input papers for regional workshops.
