Flood aid for a children’s home in the Eifel region

The 2021 flood disaster was particularly close to employees at the Düsseldorf location. They were very keen to help. For example, they responded to a call from local radio stations in North Rhine-Westphalia to give blood donations, the proceeds of which went directly to the flood victims (Action Lichtblicke). They also asked people to purchase flood wine to help winemakers in the particularly hard-hit district of Ahrweiler.

They asked Prognos for financial support for a children’s home in Urft in the Eifel. The flood disaster destroyed the playgrounds and sports grounds there, as well as the children's farm. Prognos donated a four-digit sum for the reconstruction of the outdoor facilities of the Hermann-Josef-Haus children's home.
