Late November 2023, the European Commission officially announced the ten regions in Europe that will receive technical assistance for securing skilled workers at the launch event of the Harnessing Talent Platform. As part of the technical support led by Prognos, the ten regions will be guided in developing frameworks to address the consequences of demographic change and the emigration of skilled workers from these regions. Dr Jan-Philipp Kramer, Neysan Khabirpour, and Lorenzo Pelizzari were present. The support for the regions is set to commence in January 2024 and is expected to continue until May 2026. It will include on-site visits, workshops, strategy conceptualisations, and expert opinions.
