Our client in the energy industry has already begun to position sustainability as a priority in various areas of the company and to implement individual measures. However, a company-wide understanding of sustainability and structured management were lacking. In addition, regulatory requirements and city regulations are becoming more stringent. The company therefore wants to develop a strategic and communicative approach to sustainability and visibly anchor integrative sustainability management within the group.
We developed the concept together with the client in six workshops, both on-site and digitally.
We also drafted a proposal for the future organisational structure of sustainability management and created initial sample processes that illustrate the procedures for implementing sustainability activities.
The client received a comprehensive concept for further processing and implementation of sustainability management, as well as for presentation to the management.
The results range from clear strategic building blocks (areas of action, organisational structure) to enabling fact sheets for further processing (profiles, processes) and recommendations for independent implementation.
